Project: Legacy
A cooperative effort by fans to restore the love we have for the comic book characters who inspire us. Here, you can share your story, regardless of whether you grew up with comics or are just getting started. All these characters hold a legacy. It's up to us to carry that on.

The best way I can describe how comic books fit into my life, is a relationship. My emotions are constantly changing in regards to them, we get in fights that will leave me seething, and there are moments where they make me squeal like a little girl. I’ve invested the better portion of my life into comic books. Ever since my brother handed me a silver age issue of Wonder Woman and told me to flip through the back few pages. I fell in love with this impossibly strong, but human, woman. This beautiful black-haired archer who I still look up to today. She taught me how to fight through the pain and that even if I made major missteps, I could still be strong. Then there was the fact that she had this larger-than-life father who even when we was gone, was always behind her, watching over her as her shadow. For a girl who didn’t have a good father figure to look up to, that was huge.
I’ve started Project: Legacy as a way for everyone to share their love for comic books. In this community especially, I’ve seen an overwhelming amount of negativity in the past year or two, and I want to spread even a little bit of positivity through the community. We all have vastly different stories to tell. Be it, how you discovered comics, to the different characters that inspire you. I want to hear from you. I want you to spread your love. Above was just part of mine. Now it’s your turn.
